Sometimes it’s really hard to get into the water.
It looks like a good day for Peter to walk on water (and not need as much faith to do it).
That kind of looks like it could produce a broken tailbone…or at least a compression fracture of the spine.
At least you’re applying ice where it hurts
I switched over to shorts on my route this past Tuesday and it immediately turned cold but not that cold.

I don’t know about other places, but in the Southwest US it is unseasonably cold. We had hail and snow yesterday in Flagstaff and have had only a few days in the 70s yet.
Even when the ice melts, it’ll still be way too cold to swim in, unless you like a cold swim.
Just a tad.

Guess they haven’t declared “ice out,” yet! (Anyone living in the Lake Winnipesaukee area will know what I’m referring to.)
There must be at least at least 10 cm of ice there, and probably a good bit more, to withstand the impact.
The Ice Age is lasting a bit longer than expected.
Chilly water may have floating ice but is not frozen solid. That’s cold, darn cold.
