    The gunfight is not really the end of the movie, there is also only one gunfight and, by current standards, it is pretty short.

    As I recall it was 90% talking and 10% gunfight at the very end. Now “The Wild Bunch” is what you want if round count is your main criteria.

    My late husband and my cousin watch(ed) old Westerns every afternoon. What gets me is how clean everyone is. Faces washed, hair neatly styled and ironed clothes! That’s NOT how it was!

    So what if it does end in a gunfight? Does Betty want them throwing flowers at each other? She gives me a pain the posterior because she’s always putting down what others think and do. Like she’s so perfect.
