I haven’t yet had to stand in line to get into a supermarket. The town where I live and the one where I work are both fairly small.
The direction arrows are an annoyance. Among other things, If I pass by an aisle where I know I don’t need anything, then the next aisle, where I do need something, will have the arrows pointing the other way. So I end up just going up and down every aisle. Maybe it’s good for the store. More impulse buys.
