hi JFri & Carmy
finished reading comics for tonight. also finished puzzles for tonight. haven’t finished sleeping for tonight, but plan to start. goodnight all.
karma deposit, for those in need.
MARG, thanks for an enticing choice this morning. I’ll have french toast, but hold the butter and syrup as I still haven’t lost 30 lbs since the new year. Keep the nuc coffee coming.
Good Morning TRIBE! What side effect does Rogaine have?
im at school. :0( so my class dosent start till 9 i looked at the clock in the car it says 8:19 the one on here is 8:24 so im heading to get a drink (not that kind) and go to class. 3 flights of stairs here i come. bbml
No, I’d only have the slime wads if they were properly cooked. Not poached. Deep fried? Breaded and fried, and throw away the slime? Baked to a crackly crisp?
good morning Tribe
hey DocT & Rmom, more drawbacks of home schooling include not being able to stay home sick when you aren’t really that ill, and not being able to cut a boring class to go down to the cafeteria and play euchre. also, no-one to cheat off when you write a difficult test. not that i ever needed to do any of those things (except cut boring classes to go to the cafeteria and play cards).
ducking for cover. get it?
i took this photo of a mallard drake (there were six mallards in total. i took several photos and had to crop this one to allow it to be my avatar.) on Sunday when iwent to the pond out back. this is actaully a stream that runs alongside the pathway beside the pond. the pond is frozen over and snow covered, the stream is ice edged though very shallow. i don’t know how the ducks are surviving.
Good afternoon, Terry, Yguy, Shika, Doc, Dry, bmonk & Cleo!
Doc - The only cheating my sons ever tried was the older one tried to cheat on his spelling test. Since his spelling isn’t a strong point of his, I grew suspicious when he got 100% on the test. Busted!
Yguy - True, my kids had to be lethargic in order to have a sick day. (Unless Mom was too sick to teach.) But on the other hand, if they were sick, all the deadlines for their assignments were pushed back, so they didn’t have extra work trying to get caught up. My kids have been tardy lots of times, but never played hooky. Kind of hard when I know where to find them. Of course, there are lots of perks as well - no shoes, comfortable clothing, Mom’s cooking for lunch, no group showers for gym class, no school bus…
Not too bad here. However, the wind just came up, which usually means the weather will change. I just checked the forecast - slightly cooler, but not real bad. It is up around 50 F here today - a nice change from last week!!
I’ll be scarce for the next couple of days or so - I’ve got to go into Wichita and work on my mom’s house, so the realtor can take inside pictures.
Thanks! It could be worse, I suppose. My mom was a packrat, but a very tidy, organized one. My sister (who was Mom’s primary caregiver) is the most chaotic packrat I’ve ever seen. Reportedly (by a brother) she was working on getting her bedroom there cleaned out yesterday. I hope so, because if her stuff is still lying around on the floor, I’m just throwing it all into boxes. My brother was there doing whatever projects I could delegate for him to do. Unfortunately, my sister adds lower-priority tasks to his list. I hope everything gets done this week, that NEEDS to be done right away. It is difficult being the baby of the family, but having all the responsibility sometimes - especially when they don’t let me lead.
@Rmom. I feel for you. Reportedly, we had (have) some legendary packrats in our family.
One Aunt’s home had three or four large boxes in the attic, carefully labeled and chock full of “Pieces of string too small to use.” And they were: all too small to use, which is why the were never used, just stored away–in case anyone at some future moment needed one, or 100 thousand, pieces of string too small to use.
bmonk - LOL! We threw out a lot of fabric scraps that were too small to use in our opinion. I’m sure Mom had a good reason for saving them (she made a lot of quilts). But I don’t recall anything that she labeled as being “too small to use”.
Did I hear the term pack rat? My parents saved everything. I know I have mentioned this before, but when I went to sell their house I had to go through everything, Including every card that they had ever gotten, because I found money in some of them. For eight weeks it was my seven day a week job with 8 weeks of dumpster pickups and mass recycling and eight weeks of 3 day garage sales.
Cleo - My Mom saved every card, but I’ve never found any money in them yet, even though I go through them to make sure there isn’t something I should save. The only money I’ve found is loose change. This would probably be easier if I had 8 weeks that I could work at it full-time, but with homeschooling, that isn’t possible.
Terry - Both my mom & my MIL were/are quilters. However, my MIL likes to make those pretty coordinated kind that are frequently hung on the wall. My mom’s quilts were pretty, but meant to be used. My family has always preferred the quilts my mom made, because they had a cuddly quality my MIL’s don’t seem to have. That, and she rarely left a pin in her sewing projects, where my MIL does that basically every project.
Wolfangil and her mother make many to be used but they both have won prizes for their hanging ones. Many times they change the hanging ones into useable ones after the contests are over. I prefer the ones to be used myself!
Lonewolf
You know, I’m not trying to avoid y’all. I am just not made for working from home. Too easy to get distracted. Really am gone this time, because this computer is being turned off!
Rmom the final part of the house that I cleaned out was the attic and I found a wooden ammo box up there filled with silver coins my parents would save when we got one in our country grocery store.
Terry & Rmom. My winter’s last year’s winter project was making a quilt which we have draped over the back of our couch.
celecca - I hear you! Homeschooling is a lot of work, but much of the time it is just making sure my son is on-task, and to answer questions he might have for me. Today I’m doing an Algebra 2 test. Since I’ve never taken that level before (my hubby helped our oldest son to understand it), I’m doing the course alongside my son. We take our tests separately, so I can give him (& myself) honest grades. So, I read an internet page, work a problem, then click on a new page. Not the most efficient way of working, but more enjoyable.
Quilting is one of those hobbies that I’ll probably take up after I’m done with homeschooling, moving, etc. Quilting, scrapbooking & stained glass are the hobbies I haven’t had hardly any time to do for years, but plan to start again when I’m not as busy. (I’ve had to decide which hobbies I’ll take up & which ones I won’t, so I’ll know what stuff of Mom’s to keep, and what to sell.)
My wife’s hobby this winter is systematically redoing the house. I spent today hanging curtain rods with new curtains, hanging pictures and mirrors. Her quilting hobby didn’t become my hobby too. LOL But out of necessity this one has.
Cleo - I know you’re retired, but I can’t imagine my hubby helping me do a project like that once he’s retired. He’ll come and hold something in place while I get it fastened, but that’s about as far as his decorating help goes.
Cleo - I have “balance issues” too - I’m a certifiable klutz. I’m glad LG has such a thoughtful husband. Mine just gives me a wide berth so I don’t take him down with me when I fall.
bmonk - Did your dad blow the glass, or just cut & assemble glass that’s made by someone else into panels or windows? I’ve made lampshades, but panels/windows are much easier to do. I’ve seen people blow glass, and that is neat. However, I’m trying to only do hobbies that won’t leave a bunch of art sitting around collecting dust. My mom did a lot of china painting (and she was a good artist) but I just don’t have the space for everything she created, so I’m not saving much of the china. However, her paintings on canvas are very valued by us kids, especially ones with ripe wheat in them. I’ve tried my hand at painting, but hers turned out much better than mine.
I’m pretty sure he did stained glass from sheet glass, but he did do the leading himself.
Not sure about the paperweights–I know he mentioned a furnace, but it sounded like the final stage in the process of making one, or sealing the artsy-fartsy-stuff inside, to coin a phrase.
Still, I wouldn’t put it past him, if the opportunity came up, to try his hand at blowing. I know as a chemist, from the 1950s, he was pretty skilled at blowing laboratory glassware as needed.
Terry - So, I can’t use you for a mobile railing when I’m walking on high heels or ice? My husband was just thankful there was a real railing for me to grab at church a couple Sundays ago. I was going down the stairs, started falling, and grabbed for the railing. (I usually hold onto the railings, but evidently not well enough.) I fell on my knees. I was thankful I was wearing pants, it was indoors & on carpet, instead of outdoors on concrete, and in a dress.
Way back before kids, one of my co-workers said she enjoyed just watching me walk, because invariably I would do something klutzy. BTW, I hurt my fingers bad enough at church, I had to go wash off the blood & apply Neosporin & band-aid. You know I’m klutzy when those are standard supplies in my purse!
bmonk - I agree! I love to deliberately misconstrue the meanings of words to tease the speaker.
I did a little of the leaded method of stained glass, but I prefer wrapping the edges with copper tape, and soldering it together. I haven’t done any since our oldest started crawling on the floor. Something about glass chips and crawling babies just don’t mix well. Now that he’s driving instead of crawling on the floor, I’m too busy with other things.
Good evening/afternoon all!
The internet is finally back, but now I have to head out to work.
So this might be my only post of the day.
Baldy might save some cash by quitting the smokes.
johnnyd hello to you. Yes smoking is a habit best avoided with all the taxes that they put on it. I have and occasional cigar, but cigarettes never interested me.
Cleo - I never started smoking mainly because of the cost. Most people who smoke cigarettes seem to get addicted to them, and I figured I could save a lot of money by not starting that habit. At the time, I think packs were 50 cents a piece, but when I was making $3.30 an hour, that seemed like a lot of money.
bmonk - Until they figure out how to push objects over to climb on to get up higher. I will say it was after my son was walking when he got into the most trouble. While he was still at that crawling stage, he was busy pulling out the “child proof” electrical outlets plugs to chew on, and eating half of a cricket.
Rmom - I like sitting down with a friend and having a cigar and either Booker’s, Laphroaig or Stock 84 neat and talking. The cigar soothes as does the alcohol served neat (without ice) and promotes conversation. I have had some very informative, provocative and in depth conversations just sitting and taking a sip and a puff.
I have never had kids, but I have lived in a household with children and they have very enquiring minds that are also keen on discovering what everything is, that they are not familiar with. Little hands do tend to explore.
While I don’t care for cigar smoke, I will say that most cigar smokers aren’t chain-smokers like the majority of cigarette smokers, so that would help. It is one thing to enjoy an occasional (fill in the blank) it is something else to get so addicted that a person will blow their food, rent, etc. money on their addiction, instead of paying their bills.
Terry - I’m proud of you! Everything smells so much better without smoke. My PT Cruiser used to be smoked in, unfortunately. It seems that is a very persistent odor. While I’m not crazy about “air fresheners” it is the only way I can handle the smell inside the car.
Terry, it’s a matter of sitting down and making the decision that enough is enough. I did the same thing in April when I decided that I was going to get back to the weight that I had always been before I moved in with my dad when he was diagnosed with leukemia. He and I had a totally different diet, but I didn’t want to have to make two different meals every night and slowly I put on weight. I never got fat, but I didn weigh more than I felt comfortable with.
The best reason I can come up with is this was the first time I was quitting for myself. Every other time it was for other reasons. I can smell things much better now. There are certain odors now that I’d rather NOT smell though! LOL
I’ve never been tempted to smoke–but my dad quit one day. He only smoked at work, but he opened a pack when he arrived about 5 or 6 a.m. By 10 a.m. there were three left, so he figured it was time to quit. He gave them to another smoker, told him not to offer or lend him any if he asked, and quit.
But I also hear that it’s one of the strongest addictions, in various ways.
bmonk - It doesn’t surprise me that smoke can still be smelled 15 or 20 years later, especially on something that can’t be washed.
As far as I know, neither one of my parents smoked, however, they both had brothers who did at some point. (No smokers in the family by the time I was old enough to realize.) My sister is an occasional smoker. At least she’s very considerate to not smoke in Mom’s house or anywhere like that. She probably doesn’t realize that I can tell she still smokes occasionally - she told me about 30 years ago that she only smoked when she was partying, but ever so often since then, I’ve seen/smelled evidence that she hasn’t stopped. I figure as long as she’s considerate about it, I’m not going to nag her.
Terry & Cleo - I think you’re right about it being very important to do it for yourself. I might eat the way the doctor orders me to, but I just can’t stay with it long enough to make it a lifestyle, unless I think it is important to me.
I’m thinking once school is over, I’m going to have to do something to get more active. Problem is that my feet are allergic to shoes. (Laugh, but I’m serious!) I’ve never played Wii, but think I’ll look into that when I’m ready to start my exercise program. What all will I need in addition to the actual Wii and how much will it cost? Large screen TV? Software? (Also, gotta figure out where in the house I can exercise without knocking something over in the process.)
today was my first day, it went well. so far i like my teachers, well the math is still questionable. :0)
my english teacher seems to be out of it but in funny way. and its not all english… bumer… but its about music also so im okay with that. :D
soci seems fun only has a down side to it… if you are straight you will have to act gay and see how people act and if you are gay you will have to act straight…its going to be odd! thank God i have it with my best friend and we already get looks so who cares. :D
codi is about development of people from in the womb till death… could be intresting. hope so. and thats about it.
all my classes let out early bc its the first day and noone knows what t do on the first day. lol in math for 11 mins. it was great. :D

Okay Johnny, so what do you think of the matchups this week?I started out in FF in 4th, moved to 3rd, won my first playoff, ended up 5th, but heck, that was FUN!! Sorry you didn’t make first! You were there all season! I hope Akenta does this again!
I did now.
I knew I wouldn’t win, and I probably could have gotten or even first had I had the internet the last two weeks. It was fun though, I wouldn’t mind doing that again.
Why did you think you wouldn’t win? You seem to REALLY know this FF! Better than anyone!Did you see the Packer game on Sunday? That was great! Really exciting game! Had to listen to the first 3 qtrs. on radio, but better than nothing!
FFB was a lot of fun. I hope we can do it again too.
Johnny, I was wondering why you hadn’t checked your players and then I remembered you were without internet.

Wolfangil and her mother make many to be used but they both have won prizes for their hanging ones. Many times they change the hanging ones into useable ones after the contests are over. I prefer the ones to be used myself!

She pops in: Hi everyone! Trebuchets, gophers, blue moons, duck, pack rats, quilts. Caught up!
She ducks back out: Gotta run! Job 2 calling.
At least it’s not 9 at night this time.

Hello Celecca!
Bye, bye Celecca!
celeconecca almost 15 years ago
Lonewolf You know, I’m not trying to avoid y’all. I am just not made for working from home. Too easy to get distracted. Really am gone this time, because this computer is being turned off!
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
Hibye celecca.
Rmom the final part of the house that I cleaned out was the attic and I found a wooden ammo box up there filled with silver coins my parents would save when we got one in our country grocery store.
Terry & Rmom. My winter’s last year’s winter project was making a quilt which we have draped over the back of our couch.
Smiley Rmom almost 15 years ago
celecca - I hear you!
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Take care Celecca.
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Cleo, Wolfangil is in seventh heaven when she is working on one of her quilts. I’ll have to get her to let me put some pics of them up here.
Smiley Rmom almost 15 years ago
Quilting is one of those hobbies that I’ll probably take up after I’m done with homeschooling, moving, etc. Quilting, scrapbooking & stained glass are the hobbies I haven’t had hardly any time to do for years, but plan to start again when I’m not as busy. (I’ve had to decide which hobbies I’ll take up & which ones I won’t, so I’ll know what stuff of Mom’s to keep, and what to sell.)
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
My wife’s hobby this winter is systematically redoing the house. I spent today hanging curtain rods with new curtains, hanging pictures and mirrors. Her quilting hobby didn’t become my hobby too. LOL But out of necessity this one has.
Smiley Rmom almost 15 years ago
Cleo - I know you’re retired, but I can’t imagine my hubby helping me do a project like that once he’s retired. He’ll come and hold something in place while I get it fastened, but that’s about as far as his decorating help goes.
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
I do it because of her spinal cord injury. She has balance issues and if I don’t help her I know she will do it anyways and I worry about her falling.
bmonk almost 15 years ago
Hi-bye, celecca.!
Ohh, anybody got a home remedy for whiplash?
Smiley Rmom almost 15 years ago
Cleo - I have “balance issues” too - I’m a certifiable klutz. I’m glad LG has such a thoughtful husband. Mine just gives me a wide berth so I don’t take him down with me when I fall.
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Cleo, You and LG are something special, my friend!
bmonk almost 15 years ago
@Rmom, my dad did some stained glass–one set was the six crystal classes in red on a white background–and later got into glass paperweights.
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago

Rmom–You’ve got ME falling over from laughing so hard!
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Hello Tabby
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Bmonk–Why do you need a home remedy?
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
Terry, **bmonk got whiplash trying to catch a glimpse of celecca or her flight through.
bmonk almost 15 years ago
I got whiplash from Celecca–and I wasn’t even online when she blew through!
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
caught up can i go to bed now? im wore out. big time
bmonk almost 15 years ago
@Tabby, why do you need permission from us? Get some sleep!
Reminds me: It’s almost time to wake DocT up, I’m thinking…
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Cleo & Bmonk, I understand the whiplash now! LOL
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
Bmonk its not you all i need it form its dad… grr.
well i shall bbl need to do some things around the house. maybe take a bath and a nap. :D
Smiley Rmom almost 15 years ago
bmonk - Did your dad blow the glass, or just cut & assemble glass that’s made by someone else into panels or windows? I’ve made lampshades, but panels/windows are much easier to do. I’ve seen people blow glass, and that is neat. However, I’m trying to only do hobbies that won’t leave a bunch of art sitting around collecting dust. My mom did a lot of china painting (and she was a good artist) but I just don’t have the space for everything she created, so I’m not saving much of the china. However, her paintings on canvas are very valued by us kids, especially ones with ripe wheat in them. I’ve tried my hand at painting, but hers turned out much better than mine.
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
My mom was a good artist. I loved her paintings, particularly her watercolors. I do some painting, but I am better at drawing.
bmonk almost 15 years ago
I’m pretty sure he did stained glass from sheet glass, but he did do the leading himself.
Not sure about the paperweights–I know he mentioned a furnace, but it sounded like the final stage in the process of making one, or sealing the artsy-fartsy-stuff inside, to coin a phrase.
Still, I wouldn’t put it past him, if the opportunity came up, to try his hand at blowing. I know as a chemist, from the 1950s, he was pretty skilled at blowing laboratory glassware as needed.
bmonk almost 15 years ago
My mom did painting too–I might get one or more of her canvasses sometime.
Smiley Rmom almost 15 years ago
You know I’m klutzy when those are standard supplies in my purse!
margueritem almost 15 years ago
Think of the exclamation ‘Oh rats!’ That’s what I meant by ‘Oh slime wads’.
bmonk almost 15 years ago
Yes, margueritem, but it’s so much more fun to run with it after deliberately misconstruing its meaning.
Smiley Rmom almost 15 years ago
bmonk - I agree! Now that he’s driving instead of crawling on the floor, I’m too busy with other things.
bmonk almost 15 years ago
I’ve often thought that crawling babies don’t mix well with lots of things, but glass chips is certainly right up there…
johnnydoc5 almost 15 years ago
Good evening/afternoon all! The internet is finally back, but now I have to head out to work. So this might be my only post of the day. Baldy might save some cash by quitting the smokes.
Smiley Rmom almost 15 years ago
bmonk - You’re right - there are a lot of things that crawling babies don’t mix with well.
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
johnnyd hello to you. Yes smoking is a habit best avoided with all the taxes that they put on it. I have and occasional cigar, but cigarettes never interested me.
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
chips and coke goooooooooddddddd not as good as chips and Dr. Pepper but hey ill take what i can get.
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Good Evening Marg & Johnny
bmonk almost 15 years ago
At least when they are crawling, they have a limited upper reach. When they hit 4-6 feet, there’s very little they can’t get into…
Nothing can be made foolproof, because fools are so ingenious. Honorable mention in Grafiti Contest from (I think) Omni?
Smiley Rmom almost 15 years ago
Cleo - I never started smoking mainly because of the cost. Most people who smoke cigarettes seem to get addicted to them, and I figured I could save a lot of money by not starting that habit. At the time, I think packs were 50 cents a piece, but when I was making $3.30 an hour, that seemed like a lot of money.
Smiley Rmom almost 15 years ago
bmonk - Until they figure out how to push objects over to climb on to get up higher. I will say it was after my son was walking when he got into the most trouble. While he was still at that crawling stage, he was busy pulling out the “child proof” electrical outlets plugs to chew on, and eating half of a cricket.
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
Rmom - I like sitting down with a friend and having a cigar and either Booker’s, Laphroaig or Stock 84 neat and talking. The cigar soothes as does the alcohol served neat (without ice) and promotes conversation. I have had some very informative, provocative and in depth conversations just sitting and taking a sip and a puff.
I have never had kids, but I have lived in a household with children and they have very enquiring minds that are also keen on discovering what everything is, that they are not familiar with. Little hands do tend to explore.
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
I am going on 17 months smoke free after 20+ yrs of smoking off and on! Woo-Hoo!
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
Good for you Terry.
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Thank you, Cleo. I still can’t figure out how I did it without any quit smoking kits or patches or anything.
Smiley Rmom almost 15 years ago
While I don’t care for cigar smoke, I will say that most cigar smokers aren’t chain-smokers like the majority of cigarette smokers, so that would help. It is one thing to enjoy an occasional (fill in the blank) it is something else to get so addicted that a person will blow their food, rent, etc. money on their addiction, instead of paying their bills.
Smiley Rmom almost 15 years ago
Terry - I’m proud of you! Everything smells so much better without smoke. My PT Cruiser used to be smoked in, unfortunately. It seems that is a very persistent odor. While I’m not crazy about “air fresheners” it is the only way I can handle the smell inside the car.
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
Terry, it’s a matter of sitting down and making the decision that enough is enough. I did the same thing in April when I decided that I was going to get back to the weight that I had always been before I moved in with my dad when he was diagnosed with leukemia. He and I had a totally different diet, but I didn’t want to have to make two different meals every night and slowly I put on weight. I never got fat, but I didn weigh more than I felt comfortable with.
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
The best reason I can come up with is this was the first time I was quitting for myself. Every other time it was for other reasons. I can smell things much better now. There are certain odors now that I’d rather NOT smell though! LOL
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Thank you very much, Rmom.
bmonk almost 15 years ago
@Rmom, we had an archivist that smoked, well, religiously. (Sorry…)
A religious in another Abbey opened a file he had copied and sent them 15 or 20 years earlier. He could still smell the cigarette smoke in the papers.
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
barf
Smiley Rmom almost 15 years ago
Terry - LOL! I do find that scented candles in the bathroom are quite helpful…
bmonk almost 15 years ago
Congratulations, Terry!
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Rmom, not just there. Just people odors in general sometimes! I never noticed it before.
Bmonk, like I said with me…..this time it was for myself not someone else saying I should quit. Makes a difference I think.
Smiley Rmom almost 15 years ago
bmonk - It doesn’t surprise me that smoke can still be smelled 15 or 20 years later, especially on something that can’t be washed. I figure as long as she’s considerate about it, I’m not going to nag her.
bmonk almost 15 years ago
Rmom said, “It doesn’t surprise me that smoke can still be smelled 15 or 20 years later, especially on something that can’t be washed.”
Not only not washable, but sealed up in an archive document box, so not much air transfer.
But odors are said to bring back memories better than any other sense.
Smiley Rmom almost 15 years ago
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Rmom–We have a Wii and it does wonders for excercising.
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Rmom, we run ours on a 32 inch TV and that works fine. I know some that have it on a larger one but it is not necessary.
Smiley Rmom almost 15 years ago
We only have a 25 inch TV, and my geek son thinks it is too old - that it won’t have the proper ports to hook up the Wii to it.
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
That’s very possible with your TV not having the proper ports, Rmom.

Okay Johnny, so what do you think of the matchups this week? I started out in FF in 4th, moved to 3rd, won my first playoff, ended up 5th, but heck, that was FUN!! Sorry you didn’t make first! You were there all season! I hope Akenta does this again!
johnnydoc5 almost 15 years ago
Hi Dry!
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
HI johnny! Did you see my post before your Hi Dry?
johnnydoc5 almost 15 years ago
I did now. I knew I wouldn’t win, and I probably could have gotten or even first had I had the internet the last two weeks. It was fun though, I wouldn’t mind doing that again.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Why did you think you wouldn’t win? You seem to REALLY know this FF! Better than anyone! Did you see the Packer game on Sunday? That was great! Really exciting game! Had to listen to the first 3 qtrs. on radio, but better than nothing!
carmy almost 15 years ago
FFB was a lot of fun. I hope we can do it again too. Johnny, I was wondering why you hadn’t checked your players and then I remembered you were without internet.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Goodnight all! Save me some breakfast!
johnnydoc5 almost 15 years ago
It was annoying, I finished fourth in every single league that I was in.
carmy almost 15 years ago
Goodnight Dry, sweet dreams!
carmy almost 15 years ago
Johnny, in every league? Was that a coincidence or did you have the same players on all the leagues?
johnnydoc5 almost 15 years ago
Coincidence, although a lot of my players were the same. Good night Dry
carmy almost 15 years ago
Well it certainly was a learning experience for me. I don’t think I could handle more than one league though. Power to you, Johnny!
