Concrete? The cheats!

Thom, you’ve done it again…..there are SOOOO many faces, that even Lew will find at least one!!!!

I especially like the right had spillway face….it reminds me of the Mayor’s wife in The Music Man!! :)))

But it is dam nice! Or is that a nice dam?!

I didn’t see any faces! I have better drugs than Lewreader!!

Actually, I see one rather large face, but it’s upside down: on the left, the two large rocks are the eyes, the tree is the nose, the tree above it is a hint of a mouth. – best I could do.

Yeah, beavers, but let’s see you do an equally large dam with sticks!

That said, I have a wonderful old article on how beaver dams are so much more beneficial to the environment than our own.

I can’t see any, and I want drugs

It looks like there is a face or two on the lower left looking toward the dam.

But not with rubber balloons. This year all events there had to be cancelled because a balloon dam burst so they have a Tempe Town Mudpuddle:-(

The first thing I noticed was how Thom specifically made the dam not a face.

I refuse to look for faces, for fear they will start talking to me.

Johanan - You reminded me of an email making rounds. Some guy got in trouble with the government for building a dam on his property without the EPA’s approval. Turns out it was built by beavers.

Definately a face coming out of the splashing water on the bottom. Think its the same drowning person that Lew and Shika saw… and is that a rat in the rock behind the daddy beaver? The gray would be the space between the body and the head.

DF: he used the award money he got from Wally last June.

@Rmom, and others: Snopes.com says that beaver story is true, and happened in 1997 in Michigan.

In the aggregate, this dam is a concrete example of the folly of hydraulic engineering. I say send Junior to sleep with the fishes!
