Comedians and cartoonists are going to be devastated when Trump is no longer available. We should have a President for ceremonial occasions and a Prime Minister who actually does things, like many other countries do. Then we can declare Trump President for Life, lime KimJong Il, but without any power to hurt people or break things.
The latest polls and news articles report that Trump’s base are “working class people” who are fed up with the government. So what does that make all the Nay Sayers?
Brilliant portrait, Bill. If a certain German-American painter from the 1930’s named George Grosz had been been alive today, his portrait of Trump would have looked exactly the same. The scary thing is that history is repeating itself and may be blindly heading down the same path that Grosz witnessed when he watched Hitler rise to power (fortunately for him from the safe vantage point of the United States). Soon it may be time to move to Germany for a safe vantage point.

I think it is the elephants that created this problem in the first place.

Well, I’ll be damned. It’s a sublimely primal expression of universal, natural truth.

Oddly the copyright notice on the upper left corner says © 2015. A typo, maybe?

2015? Perhaps Bill is prescient. Either way, I’m with Bill.

The day after he posted today’s strip on his Facebook page, Berkeley Breathed posted this follow-up that I think some may find interesting:
Bloomers, you ask, we bestow: the affectionate portrait of * below ( *****’s name will no longer appear in the space) was created by Mike Monahan. (…)
