Huey: What are you doing? Riley: Writing a letter to the President. I figure I'd start being nice to him now, so when I need a pardon he'll hook me up. Huey: You're writing to Clinton? Riley: Of course he seems down. Huey: Clinton's out of office, Riley, ex-presidents can't pardon anyone. Riley: Great!! Well, this is the last time I make an effort to participate in government!!
So, maybe if Riley wrote to him, maybe he would help Riley to join them. All Riley really wants is to not be bored, right? So success through doing good things works, he will go for it.
