Oh, LOL! Elvis, you’ve inspired me! I am now picturing the newest movie starting production in fall, a remake of the classic courtroom drama called “12 Angry Cats”.
It has been a while since I have posted a question, but I have a couple for today. Since Today is September 1 I was wondering how many people who already have the 2019 BCN calendar are planning on putting it up since it has a page with September – December? Also for those who have the 2018 calendar, what are your plans for it once the year is done? Also if you don’t have the calendar already are you planning on getting it or hoping to get it as a gift?
I am planning on putting the calendar up at work along with the 2018 one that is already there. I haven’t decided what I am going to do with the 2018 calendar at the the end of the year, but I am definitely keeping it. I might buy a frame and rotate the pictures in it.
On a side note, I don’t know if Georgia planned it, but the September – December picture goes along with the strips from the last 3 days.
“What the… how did you… where did… Hey! Drop those…” Tre-C’s second thought after the truck driver shouted at her was; “Do you know how to speak in compete sentences?” Her first thought was; ”Son of a b****!”, which translated to cat came out roughly as; “Reowrrrr!”, followed by a loud “hissss…” and a quick leap out through the passenger window, dropping the rabbit’s foot on the passenger floor. “RUN, MEGAN!” she cried as she took off fulll-speed into to the bushes. “Right behind you, Kitten!” Megan ran under the truck, under the parked cars and back to the position she left from. “Keep your paws crossed” Megan said as they heard the sound of the truck starting. Then the truck inched forward to align with the trash can the Man had rolled down the long driveway. And Megan and Tre-C watched as the claw-arm moved about six inches, hesitated, then fell back to its resting bracket. “YES!” Megan exclaimed, adding; “Now, I just hope he isn’t inclined to try and fix it himself.” Tre-C coolly replied, “Well he might have been, but probably not without this…” and pointed to the small roll of Duct tape over her tail she had grabbed from under the passenger seat on her way out…
LOL poor Lupin, shoulda seen that comin’! ♥ On a happy note, I’m so glad GoComics has brought back the @ feature—yay!! I hope they don’t take it away again. Good morning (((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((Shaunnmunn & all Mega Orbsters)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) @Shaunn: I shall write you back asap, ok sweetie? I’ve got a million errands to run today with hubby but when I’m back at the couch in front of my laptop, YOU will be the first person I write to, even before my momma! ♥♥♥ Love you lots!!
it amazes me that you never see blood, scratches or bandages on The Woman or The Man. now if that had been me and my Scamper, I probably would have ended up in the emergency room needing a pint of blood. wonder if the boys are really that gentle and passive in real life?
Either Lupin is remarkably laid back or Woman is extremely brave. Giving either of our cats a bath requires donning a motorcycle jacket and Kevlar chainsaw gloves.
The last time cat bathing was discussed here, someone made the interesting suggestion of getting in the bathtub with the cat. The reasoning was that your cat will see you as a fellow victim who fell in the water instead of the Evil Monster Who Must Be Clawed To Death. And then when you lift the cat out, you’re a rescuer. Now, I don’t know if anyone here has actually tried that besides the poster, but it’s an interesting thought.
Poor little Lupin; the indignity of having to endure not only accusations of pen related shenanigans, but then a bath too?!?! So much for a kitty to have to suffer through!Oh, and just in case anyone forgot, today being September 1st means we are ONE MONTH away from SWAN EATERS coming to our computer screens right here on GoComics! Who else is STOKED! I never saw the original run of it, but have been able to find a few strips by Google Image searching and I can’t wait to read every strip!
I think Elvis is savoring a feeling of revenge for Lupin’s meanness over the hairball incident. At least the “dish” isn’t being served cold. I’ve known a few cats who settled down when they realized that the water was WARM. I’m also told that warming the drying towel in a dryer helps, afterward.
What amazes me is that Lupin is being so patient. Then again, he was the one who fell into the shower.
Hello everyone!! In just over an hour, at noon Pacific time, I’ll be live on Facebook announcing some good news! Tune in and say hi! https://m.facebook.com/GeorgiaDunnStudio/
(I know some folks inevitably always will complain, “well, I don’t have a Facebook,” and I hear that. I will try my best to write out the announcements as soon as I can! With two small children to take care of and seven new comic strips to write each week, hopping onto a video and just speaking is the fastest, easiest way I can announce things in the moment. I’m hoping to dust off my blog again though, and then I’ll be able to write up quick announcements there! Thank you for understanding!)
1. On March 5, 2019 we’re getting a second ‘Breaking Cat News’ book!! This will pick right up where the first BCN book left off. This means we’ll meet Tabitha and Figaro in this book, and Tommy will join the BCN crew as well! Yes!—We’ll finally have the BCN 2014 Christmas special in an actual book! And Lupin’s laundry adventure too. This book will be packed with extras, including tutorials to draw the BCN crew and face expressions, another tutorial on how to draw your own pets as reporters, and PAPER DOLLS!! I’m so excited, and I hope you are too. You can pre-order it here https://www.amazon.com/dp/1449495222/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_ep_dp_PYVIBbPXBTY4K or please pre-order it through your local bookshop! In fact, please let your local bookshop or library know about it, often times new books are only ordered by word of mouth!
2. I will be at New York Comic Con this year! On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday I will be saying hello and signing things at the GoComics booth. Closer to the event I will let you know my schedule, because I will have scheduled times to be there, mostly in the later afternoons I believe. I will NOT be at Comic Con on Sunday, I’m sorry, four days would be very long for me to be away from my kiddos.
3. There will be opportunities to purchase original paintings of mine soon! Watch our FB, Twitter, or Instagram for announcements!
4. Reminder on October 1st my 2011-2013 comic ‘Swan Eaters’ will be here on GoComics! It’s PG-13 because it gets a little spooky later on in the run! It will update on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays!
Happy Saturday, everyone!! Thank you so much for reading and your support and encouragement!

The guilty is getting his punishment without a trial. Sometimes a jury isn’t necessary when a cat is involved even though they don’t see it that way.
