She’s so little!

I recently found an ancient copy of “The Book of Being Cat”.

Right there, on page 1, it says, “If it moves chase it. If it doesn’t move, find out why.”

Yup! Elvis certainly has no idea whatsoever as to what is happening behind him when he is not looking. Crabbiest Cat standing is not affected. He is still in the running.

In an effort to help spread BCN atound the world I thought I would post a question about how you spread the word about BCN. I will occasionally share strips on Facebook and when people at work ask about any of my BCN related things at work I will tell them about BCN and follow up with an email with links. I also bought a copy of the first BCN book and put it a little free library. It was gone a few weeks later when I checked. I have not seen it back in that one but I hope it has visited many places since I released it into the wild. I will probably buy an extra of the new one and do the same thing.

She is very well spoken for a young kitten!

Nobody has told Beatrix how Elvis feels about touching his tail! But, really? I think Elvis will suddenly mellow out about his tail if the kitten starts batting it around.

What Beatrix is wearing. I can’t remember the name. Not rompers or playsuit. A nice sturdy cotton shorts-with-bib, and straps that come over the shoulders and button in front.

Wow, it’s rare to see our Elvis smiling so much! Beatrix really brings out the best in him. :-)

LASER LIGHT miracle!

Yes, at last! A laser light that uses AAA batteries & not those hard-to-find button types. Hope I’m allowed to mention the Ray-O-Vac® combination laser-pointer/9 LED flashlight.

Sis got it for Dusty at WallyWorld & said it was about $10 (US). Takes 3 AAA batts. Found it in hardware area.

No more tossing old lights because batts were hard to find & cost $$$$!

She’s sort of a cross between Tommy, Puck, and Bert. With those FEET. She’s my favorite BCN character and has been since her original first appearance. I love the boys, Tommy, and all the other cats, as well as the Robber Mice—but wee Bea is very special. Those new to her will see how her presence affects everyone.

I wonder if we’ll ever learn the story of how “Bee Tricks” came to be homeless. But she’s happy now, and maybe it’s better if we don’t know.

I love how poised Beatrix is when she’s on camera, but as soon as she thinks she’s off, her true colors shine through!

Thanks, Elvis. Your tail may distract the kitten from the joys of the cable connecting the humans’ monitor to its video card. Without you here to save the day we now have an HDMI connector with a tough braided shield.

Beatrix’s overalls are so cute. I see Elvis is playing the you can bat at my tail and I’ll act like I know nothing game. Good for you Elvis for once someone else comes first but we won’t tell.

Nothing quite so cute as a kitten at play.

Said it yesterday, I’ll say it again today, “Go for it BEA!”

It was snowing earlier this morning and I wasn’t sure if I would be able to get out, but it warmed up some, and the snow on the ground melted enough that I made it. I needed to get to the local drug store to pick up my prescriptions. I also had a shingles vaccine waiting for me. I will need to get a second dose in 2 to 6 months, but I am feeling less concerned about it already.

Hi everyone. After 12 hours driving nearly straight through (one gas/food stop) we have arrived in Rhode Island. I expect to see my family tomorrow. I do not expect this to be a fun two days.

Beatrix is a gorgeous little kitten, and oh, those paws! She’s so cute! And Elvis clearly holds her in the same esteem he does his beloved Woman and Baby. Beatrix is definitely in good hands with him, Lupin, and Puck.
