    Puffy Tommy! =D

(I was about to put “poofy,” but somehow, it didn’t seem quite right for this particular fluff.) =3

I get the feeling, and I’m not sure where it comes from, but I get the feeling that Baba Mouse likes to mess with cats.

Quick update on Nushi: Nushi is staying steady, but we had some problems with eating today. She ate fairly well 1st thing in the morning, but it’s been a struggle since. She goes and sits where she would for food, she smells the food, then she turns her head away and often does the licky lips I’ve often seen in dogs and cats when they are nauseous. This leads me to believe she wants food, so her appetite is there, but it just turns her stomach. I’ve also found I do better when I rotate food, which I didn’t have to do each time prior to the FIP. I got a prescription for cerenia (anti-emitic) for her am cooking chicken thighs for her and defrosting a whole chicken to use to make stock with no seasoning and just some carrots and celery. I’ll break up the bones for the last part.

Am I missing anything? Do you think I am reading her signals correctly? OMC! I need to check her temp (hate doing that, but…need to be sure) She had no temp Wed, 5/29, but she could have gotten one and that will kill their appetite (when it hits 104), not usually make them nauseous…But best to be sure. I’ll be back…

Panel one shows his head poof. Panel two shows his bottom half poof. If both had poofed at the same time, it might have broken the sound barrier.

    Hello Orb…my turn for needing boops & purrrrrrrrrrz & huggythingys & stuffs…

Every so often I’ve mentioned PJ, my best bud/partner-in-crime for 15 years & roommate for 5. Well…

…yesterday afternoon the silly guy suddenly had a massive heart attack & died. Rude of him, I know…

…but he had a family history of heart problems – sudden massive heart attacks out of seemingly nowhere killed both his dad & his older brother. Only one male in his family lived past his 60s. PJ didn’t quite make it – he turned 69 this past Sunday – but he still beat the average by several years.

We were never a couple – never rang each other’s bells that way – but in some ways we acted like an old married couple. We watched out for each other, went everywhere together, laughed at each other’s bad jokes, & finished each other’s sentences.

I’m mostly still numb with shock & disbelief. There’s a ginormous hole in my soul, the apartment is TOO BLEEPING QUIET!!! & my computer screen keeps going all blurry so I can’t see the Kitten Rescue live feed, which is about all I can handle right now…good night to my favorite smart, funny, Grumpy Old Man with a heart of gold – if there’s an “other side,” I hope you & your bro are raising hell & having fun, & I hope to see you there one of these old daze…

Glad to see others saw the resemblance. Grandma Hawkins. I can’t believe it took me this long to figure it out.

And if you haven’t seen Georgia’s other strip, Swan Eaters, you are missing the boat big time. It is rather dark. Here it is from the beginning in October of last year. I suggest that you binge wildly.

I love Tommy in panel one, all dressed up in his “startled suit”… “Boofy” as the late, great Steve Irwin would say.

I think that after Baba was given her start by Winifred Quinn, she was adopted by a family named O’Riley. (Yes, Yet Another shameless Who reference to grovel for a “like” from Georgia. :-) )
