OT: Well, I’ve done it. I adopted another cat. This one is a bob-tailed boy that had been on his own for at least 10 months. A kind lady fed him through that time. He was finally trapped and taken to the shelter. And he and Katie have been trash talking since Hubby brought him home yesterday. And I am unsure what to name him. Hubby and I haven’t like any of the names we’ve come up with except Tag, because he follows us right on our heels. He is gray with some swirls of beige thrown in the mix.

Still nekkid, still loving it.

This is Julia Kitten with my recipe for nekkid cat bread,

On a hot summer night, white cats can line up against a white surface and be invisible for as long as they please. Then they can assume modesty poses and provide cuteness for humans and felines alike. Siamese should try not to poof, but if this becomes necessary then can provide cuteness of their own.

Our Pepper came home today… we can’t bear to open the parcel yet. When we do, I’ll take a photo of his memorial space. The only thing we haven’t done yet is printed photos we love of him and frame them for it..

Today is Pandemonium Day. Pan: all inclusive; demon: a supernatural being of generally unfriendly disposition; -ium: suffix denoting elemental identification. Demonium—the essential essence of demons. So basically, this is “All-Demon’s Day.” It’s only fair, since there is an “All-Saint’s Day,” and in this inclusive society, demons deserve equal time.

Those with inner demons may wish to let them out for some fresh air. Who knows, they may wander off and you’ll never see them again. (NOTE: does not apply to cats.)

It is perhaps appropriate that this is a French national holiday. “Anything worth doing is worth doing to excess.” The French seem to have taken that philosophy to heart, not to say excess. (N.B. I have a Twainian attitude toward most things French, except cheese and wine.)

Also note that this is not Pandamonium Day. Otherwise known as Panda Pay Day, when pandas throw wild parties and blow their entire paycheck on fermented and distilled bamboo juice.

Note to Australian Contingent: None of this has anything to do with police officers.

As I’m rereading this far into the future, there’s thunder booming all around and raindrops falling on my roof, but I have yet to see a “July” bug. They are usually at the peak around this time of year in my neck of the woods.
