“Aloof, selfish, cold, motivated only by treats, napping all day, finicky eaters”? Why, that sounds to me just like a certain Siamese you cannot pleeeeeze! ;p
We covered our whiskers and washed our paws so well there was no cold and flu season! Well done us! It helps to have a fuzzy kitty at home with you too. :)
The man must think he is still dreaming or in one of the alternate realities from Harry Turtledove, Philip Dick or a TV show like Star Trek (mostly TNG but the other series too) or Fringe! Elvis has never been nice to him before!
I guess Lupin burned a sick day at BCN on account of the Zoomies as well but now looks well refreshed and ready to take on the world!
That’s what happens when you miss work, Lupin. You wake up in a parallel universe and don’t notice because the Man had a goatee to begin with. (I guess Mirror Universe Man would be clean-shaven, then? Or maybe he’d still have long hair.)
I wish this Person could nap all day, Elvis, she said, taking a five-minute break to sit down after manually hauling about a hundred books upstairs from her office (where they’re processed) to the stacks (where they’re shelved). The elevator has been broken for months.
OT … I get to meet The Girlfriend’s three-year-old daughter tonight. She’s generally discouraged from informally referring to adults by their first names, so the question was presented, what would I like her to call me?
And that’s how I came to decide that if 47 wasn’t too young for my great-grandfather to be called Dzadziu (pronounced ZHAD-zhoo) I can live with it too, and assuming she doesn’t speak Polish, she’ll just think of it as an unusual nickname.
It has come to my attention that, as far as I remember, I have only replied to other’s comments and not left an original one of my own. So… have a good day I guess?
This is why i read this comic, 1. It is very funny, (besides when Beatrix was lost outside,). 2. It is INSANELY wholesome! (I ABSOLUTELY ADORE WHOLESOME STUFF!) 3. It’s is very well made!

Elvis is definitely projecting but he’s so sweet that you gotta love him! Such wonderful images to go with the words.

Performed by the late, great Bill Withers: Lovely Day
When I think about my people, friends
They can be aloof and unkind
And sometimes they all they do is nap, friends
And when I want them I can’t find!
…….
Then I see what they do
To look out for family and friends
Just to know how fine they are,
And I know it’s gonna be
A lovely day
lovely day, lovely day, lovely day
…….
When the day that lies ahead of me
Seems impossible to face
Recovering from a bout of Zoomies
Then something is so great,
…….
Then I see what they do
To look out for family and friends
Just to know how fine they are,
And I know it’s gonna be
A lovely day
lovely day, lovely day, lovely day
