A lot of folks are saying the bars look wide enough for them both to easily pass through….

It could be cognitive reprogramming. They were in cages where the bars were closer, and they could not get out. Progressively the bars were widened to see if they could recognize the change or assume they could not escape, because they recognize the bars.

They already show tremendous apptitude at the mazes, where they are conditioned to search for food. The higher the cognitive apptitude, the more likely the mind can be tricked.

This is all mute if they can not cry Havoc, and release the Bunnies of War!
