Sue Chef: Thomios, there’s a swarm of bees here to see you.
Thomios: Take them to the dining room and offer them some potted flowers as refreshments. I’ll be right there.
Sometime Later
Head Worker Bee: I am Queen Titania’s representative, Clio. We would like introduce ourselves.
Thomios: Welcome, bees. Please make yourselves at comb. How may I help you?
Clio: Our hive has been making honey for generations, and now have more than we know what to do with. We are now working with unnamed benefactors to distribute our fine honey far and wide, and would like to find new flowers to make even more varieties.
Thomios: Burt-Ra and his crew tend the gardens around the palace. You can find a more magical source at the Cosmo gardens.
Clio: They’re a fair distance from here.
Thomios: I’m sure we can arrange transport. But my experience with honey is limited. I would like to find some new recipes.
Clio: Floofnet the Joyous had many recipes. They may yet be found if the explorers can find the archive room.
Bea is the perfect one to introduce this, since her first appearance came shortly before that other saint’s day. I myself will certainly be partaking in a food that’s not corn, not beef, and smells like feet.
I wonder if the necktie wearing snakes will make a cameo appearance on St. Catty’s Day. They are my favorites of the occasional supporting cast characters.
This came up this morning when I was Googling Beatrix, looking for her sitting on Trevor’s head. @Georgia Dunn, is this legit or are you being ripped off?
Am I the only person who has outgrown the childhood fixation on daylight saving time? Now that I’m old and don’t have to be home before dark, I would rather not have an hour of my life held hostage for seven months of the year. Delaying sunset for an hour just means one less hour for me to enjoy the fireflies on a summer evening.
In St. Louis, this is also 314 day. That was the original telephone prefix for the city and nearby metro area (there’s a new overly code prefix now). It’s supposed to celebrate the city.
Just read an article about how cats are not featured in shows. It makes sense, my cat does the same thing when I try to take pics of her. LOL….I don’t know how to post the thread, but it was about cats freezing up when they’re being filmed or photographed. As soon as I bring my phone up to take a pic of my cat, she is like all “angry cat look”. The reason I don’t have a pic of her on my avatar :(
I checked on it and Saint Gertrude of Nivelles is the patron saint of cats and her feast day is the 17’s so I guess it’s the day to celebrate Irish kitty’s.

Ay, we’ll all be participating in the wearing of the fur.
Reminds me of an infamous St. Patrick’s Day joke: what did St. Patrick say as he was driving all the snakes out of Ireland?
(Must be delivered looking over the left shoulder, UK-driving style) “Everybody OK in the back there?”

There is a statue of St. Gertrude in Geertruidenberg, Netherlands, where she is driving out the mice.
