They all are the picture of contentment. Elvis has gotten his spins in and now is snoozing peacefully. Looks like Lupin, the party planner, is home free.
Our cats stay at Spa Vet when we are gone. This next time we are hoping to be able to schedule some HVAC replacement work for while we are gone. So we will all come home together. Plans also include having the groomer bathe and fluff all three of them so that they will all smell the same too….part of our hope to lessen the animosity between old and new feline residents.
The cute meter has registered a 10.5, earth quake. The cuteness dam is starting to crack. Commenters are advised to seek higher ground or, you will end up drowning in cuteness…please stand by…
I cannot tell who is speaking in the last panel, but I will assume it is the Woman. Pretty much every character is napping together, which is so cute. Meanwhile, is the Man left out or lucky for taking a separate nap apart from the cuddle pile around the woman?
Many years ago, we went on a camping trip with our kids. We were only gone for one night, left out extra food and water, just like The Man and The Woman. When we got home, our cat, Uma, flopped on top of me during nap time (our youngest was about 1.5 yrs old) and didn’t move an inch. I think she followed me around for a few days and would hold me hostage any time I sat or laid down. She was a sweet kitty, gone too soon, like all of our beloved pets we have seen cross The Bridge.
Next week, I am traveling with our daughter Alexandria to Connecticut for Macgregor’s graduation from his Ballet Conservatory. Marie is staying home because it is tough for her to travel (plus – getting there with today’s airlines is NO fun). Marie says Hamilton won’t settle and ends up on my pillow at night while I am gone. Whenever I come home from being out, Hamilton gives me numerous nose kisses and head bumps. It’s nice to be missed.
Beatrixia: Your Majesty, Violet-Ifa and I have found a scroll describing where the Pyramid Near the Oasis is located. We’d like to go exploring around that area.
Queen Catshepsut the Golden: Who do you propose to take along?
Bea: Kara and Vann are available. I would also like to take Violet and Tash. We’ll definitely need a scholar, and possibly a warrior. I would also like for Lupinium and Puckmosis to go along.
The Queen: It would be good to take along someone from Afar as well. Are Iron Glove and Adobe Style visiting here?
Bea: Yes. I’ll ask them to see if they would like to go.
Sometime Later
Bea: Thank you all for agreeing to come along on this trip. Now according to the scroll we found, the entrance to the Pyramid is best seen at midnight during a full moon.
Puckmosis: Sounds like we need to take some torches along.
Bea: Yes. Burt-Ra has provided a supply.
Lupinium: Sounds like a plan. When do we start?
Bea: Just as soon as we have everything loaded up.
We love traveling but have found out over the years that 1. 10 days is our max that we want to be gone and 2. we miss the cats a LOT. We’ve very lucky that our neighbor across the streets is such an animal person because she takes great care of them. She sends me pictures at least twice a day with stories of what each kitty did or is doing.
We all know that cats have a multiplicative effect on gravity when in contact with a warm fuzzy blanket. By my calculations, that couch is now bearing three-point-six thousand metric tons of weight.
Just got home after 2 months in the hospital and rehab and saw my Rosie for the 1st time since March 12! To feel her silky fur as she rubs up against me, meow/purring – certainly one version of heaven…

Yes. Home is where the cats are. I hated leaving them at home by themselves. But at least I always had purrs and snuggles waiting for me. ❤

Where you bitterly ocmplained about Lupin having a refreshing nap and then the Woman praised him, “during work hours”
THEN look at what you’re doing here with Goldie and Puck in tow!
