And he makes such an excellent cleric! Loving the robes!

Why is Cleric considered a less desirable role?

Well, cats are sun worshippers. Or perhaps they expect the sun to worship them. Either way, great shield, Pucky!

I’d probably be a cleric, too. Less combat and more healing. :D

What’s in Pucky’s lunchbox thingie?

When I was a gamer and fan of MMORPGs. Clerics, knights and assassins were my favorite classes.

I loved healing people and giving them buffs.

I guessed right! I guessed right! :D \o/

Puck is so good and gentle, and looks so sweet in his wimple with his medieval med-kit and (I believe) sun emblem or shield. My twin brother always plays a cleric because that is his nature much like Puck to be the healer and supporter, and he enjoys the role. However, I never considered that some players like Puck would give up the role they’d rather play in order to support the group with their healing abilities, and to enable others to play the roles that they want. Though I must say the role suits Puck well.

I don’t understand why don’t creators of MMORPGs design unique symbols for clerics instead of using crosses and David’s star, since they follow non existent religions and worship other gods and goddesses.

I dream of creating an online video game especially a MOBA game set in a high fantasy world that rivals LOL, I have a lot of named characters with backstories and abilities and I imagine their interaction with each other, some characters are enemies some characters are friends.

Pucky would make an excellent cleric, but I was right about the wizard. He did look great in his Gandalf costume. I wonder what magic the great Cat allows the clerics?

To all those out there who said Pucky would be a Cleric, well done. Now I just have one little question…What is a Cleric in a D&D or V&V game?

I joined the St. Louis Writers Guild yesterday. It looks like they have some interesting and useful events. I am looking forward to their workshop next Saturday.

Do NOT irritate that Cleric! Do you know how much damage that armored tail can do? Irritated Puck swishes could wipe out the party!

In the last panel, Pucks left front paw is up on his nether side, a green sleeved “arm” appears to be holding his Cleric’s box. The hand looks like it has a gold glove on it, but that could be the similarly colored box.

Lupin’s paws do not have gloves, and that actually looks like a left arm more than Lupin’s right arm-which I think we can see his paw on Puck’s shoulder.

What do you suppose that is?

My BCN calendar shows that today is Lupin’s gotcha day. It seems like a good day to celebrate Lupin who will live on forever in the comic but left this earth much too early.

I know nothing at all about these games. But we are only 8 days from July 1st so I am wondering what role our favorite July bug,, Jules would play?

I’ve been seeing some comments/questions from folks who have not really played D&D. I know enough to be dangerous, but maybe someone who actually knows can create a high level post that gives new folks some basis for this arc? I’ve seen snippets buried in various comments, but if there was one spot folks could go, it seems like it would be easier and a more enjoyable way to share the love.

NEVER underestimate the value of a healer in your party, NO MATTER WHAT!

Somebody’s got to patch you up when you get injured.

Whether it’s tabletop or video gaming, SOMEBODY’S got to patch the team together when they get hurt.

After all, even Team Fortress 2 and Call of Duty – every decent Call of Duty – have medics.

What is Buzzy Mouse going to be? Do clerics have acolytes?

My understanding is that boys got together to play D&D and learn skills like dice rolling and snacking while girls got together to practice cliqueing and shunning people who were different. :)
