Apparently kraken, just like squid, is great once grilled over charcoal and served slathered with Kewpie mayo. Also, orcs taste like premium pork, wyvern meat is very like Wagyu grade beef, and giant serpents are good for karaage … well, according to a series called Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill anyway.

I was expecting to see Pengo on the boy’s shoulder, saying “Pieces of eight”, but the emergence of The Kraken has doomed that idea.
