    To think there was a time when you checked the stickers on the front door before you went into a restaurant to make sure you had the right cards.

    I use my Amex card mainly for the 1% cashback (5% for first 3 months) as it’s the highest cashback around. We are able to use if for most things in the UK, but there are a number of places that will refuse to take it. Go to Visa for those.

    My former Generous Employer gave us AmEx corporate cards, which made field trips fun (not) since many places (including airlines) wouldn’t take them…
