For almost 8 years, month after month, year after year, I watched Bush and Dick drive this country into the ground. And whenever I complained about it, people like you would always say “Support our President”.
It’s already been established in earlier strips that Brewster’s frequent brain probings have turned him into a blithering idiot MOST of the time. He is intelligent on rare occasions, and I think we can all agree that makes him more qualified than anyone we’ve had in at least the last couple decades.
“You must be one of those folks who thought he made a brilliant choice three years ago. That’s why you’re still talking nostalgically about the ‘moron’ you didn’t vote for in 2000 and 2004 instead of the moron you’re responsible for electing.”__You must be one of those … “folks” who thought that voting for the same incompetent, inept, intensely boorish and rude moron (and his paid pack of PNACers) twice — and finding some (!) way to “plotz” his sorry butt in WH was a “really bright move…” __I didn’t… I didn’t… I don’t… and I never will.
I didn’t vote for the current president because he was too conservative for me. Still is. I voted for the Socialist Party candidate it ’08 (no, not Obama) and fully anticipate doing the same in 2012.
The latest President (of the Galaxy, remember) was Zaphod Beeblebrox, whose job it was to keep everybody’s attention off the characters who were actually running things and lining their own pockets. Sound familiar?

Sorry, we already didn’t vote for a Moron in 2000. And didn’t vote for the Moron four years later. I don’t see we’re ready for another one now.
Hmm, was Brewster born in Texas?
And no, he’s not due for a good idea. The strip is how old now, about five, six years? He’s off by a good decade and a half for a good idea… :-)

I wonder if Brewster’s campaign ads will have Herbie Hancock’s “Rock-It” playing in the background.

Brewster Rockit – He’ll turn a blind eye to government corruption.
Come to think of it, I don’t even know what color his eyes are ~

Yeah, and if you flip heads five times in a row, you’re “due” for tails.

It is pretty obvious that we cannot trust that job to anyone that would actually want it.
