“Before that was the Big Exhale. Before that was the Big Inhale. Before that was, “Here, hold my beer.” Before that was “Daddy, can you blow up my balloon for me?” Before that was, “Dear, go ask your father.”

The Big Flash came before the Big Bang. Light travels faster than sound.

If you know who to ask, you’ll find the answer is Turtles. Yep, it’s Turtles, all the way down.

You’re right, packratjohn. I also suspect that right before the Big Band was, “Oh, cr@p”!

My eyes jump around too much. After the dialog of the first panel, I briefly thought that Brewster deliberately caused another explosion to demonstrate.

Hey, guys….. it’s all an illusion. The universe (and all we do in it) exists for such a brief moment that all that could be, will be, might be and won’t be is experienced at the same moment. What we call time is just the way we experience it.

This explains the problem with the big bang theory. What was there to go bang.

It isn’t a problem, just an unanswered question. Not unlike “who created God?” The answer to one could easily apply to the other.

WOW! The funny comments outnumber the diatribes (both sides). Well done commenters!
