There’s that piece by Philip Glass that plays one note every few years.

A Gregorian Chant should be about the right speed for meditating and doing yoga.

Around 180bpm, ideally. Although, I dislike running with music in my ears: too isolating and distracting.

I walk a 13 minute mile and listen to an eclectic mix. Did a 5K with Beethoven’s 4th for most of it. Had a Gregorian chant come on as I hit a hill on a half Marathon. Nice thing about walking is that I can do it even uphill. It was killing the runners.

Would a funeral dirge be too upbeat for Cliff?

If I could go jogging with HER… well, anyway, I’d have a real nice view until she got too far ahead.

Jim Fixx was one of millions of Americans who started jogging in the 1 960s, 1970s, and 1980s. Unlike other joggers , however, Fixx wrote a best-selling book about running and, ironically, died of a heart attack at the age of 52 years while jogging.

I like Gregorian chants. Not for jogging, just for listening.
