Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson for May 25, 1993
Transcript:
Calvin: Look Hobbes, this world is kind of like TV. A casual observer might even confuse the two. But if you notice, here the colors are less intense and the people are uglier. Also, I see that several minutes can go by without a single car chase, explosion, murder or pat personal exchange. Hobbes: Why settle for less, hmm? Calvin: Shh, this is my favorite deodorant commercial.
“Pat personal exchange” is something I’ve never heard of before.
