Also in the last episode of Jonny Quest called “Sea Haunt” they land on a derelict ship being beleaguered by a Deep One. Dr. Quest reads and translate from the Dutch, the captain’s log. At one point in mid pen stroke the writing ends. “…in a moment I will……” where the monster found and killed him.
