Odd to see Hobbes displayed as a real tiger in a couple of panels in which Calvin’s mom also appears. But in both panels he and Calvin are in a positive where she can’t see them.

Don’t kill Calvin. Hobbes is the one that honked the horn.

Aaahh memories, the days before mobiles, break down in the middle of nowhere and hope someone, who isn´t a murderer, stops to help!

When my niece was living near us for a while, I got her a AAA membership as a birthday gift. Her mechanical skills were up to the point of opening a jar of nail polish. I sincerely doubted she knew how to change a tyre (she’s from Ireland, hence the spelling) or deal with anything more complicated than pumping gas.

The gift was as much for my peace of mind as it was for hers.

Calvin isn’t an infant, so it wouldn’t be infanticide. It would be pedicide.

That demonstrates the basic drawback to a hatchback. You don’t have a trunk to store items, safely. Such as rotten little kids.

Well, he is driving her crazy.

Car seats save lives. Muzzles do to.

No use wondering why Calvin is an only child.

Today she’d lose parental rights if she was reported. In the case of Calvin, that might be a blessing.

If she lost her exhaust system, looking under the hood wouldn’t help.

It’s funny how we look under the hood when the car won’t start. Like, what are we expecting to see? A big “off” switch. :-P

Calvin has not been an infant for at least 5 years.
