Well, that snow is soft enough just to walk through, isn’t it?
They say, “No pain, no gain”. For Calvin, it’s “All pain”.
Do I detect just the teensiest-weensiest hint of sarcasm in Hobbes response? It would be most uncharacteristic if so.
No Calvin you aren’t the stoic type. You’re such a spitfire you would make a stoic break his type. ;D
“not wet enough to pack” – before I lived in the USA that would have been meaningless to me – snow in Scotland is ALWAYS “wet enough to pack”I had never heard of dry snow!! – but in Indiana – dry snow!!
With that kind of snow, Calvin has to be stoic. Easy to shovel, though a royal pain to do it. Best to just let it melt.
You truly are an inspiration, Calvin. And I would thank you to stop inspiring my grandchildren!
Somehow it doesn’t seem snowy enough either.
Opened the curtains this morning. The snows all gone. No complaints here…….
Yes, The Count has noticed that about Calvin.
You ACTUALLY believe that, Calvin?
This is a 30 year old strip, wonder what Calvin is doing today?
Any ideas?
Maybe working in H R for some huge corporation?
…and now for his next idea…
More Sophist than Stoic.
Love Hobbes’ sarcasm… LOL
Calvin’s snowic, not stoic…
(¬_¬)
So stow it Mr. stoic. You’re harshing my Christmas town vibe.
A stoic would have more of a blank expression.
Those stoic whiners are the worst. :)
Calvin: STOIC!
Hobbes: You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
Inspirational!!! ??? This brat!!!! Ohhhh noooo!!!
I think it’s time to ask an Eskimo what kind of snow it is.
Who else can understand Calvin better than the furry feline. The snow is not enough for the daily dose of fun for all of us through Calvin.
Live life by acting on the question “What would Calvin do?” wonder how long I would last.
