Aren’t there neighbors close enough to hear Roslyn screaming and call the police? Or does that happen later in this arc?

They are flaming hot chicks, because the surface of Venus is 800 degrees.

Too bad these were the days before cell phones. If this happened today she’d be on the phone with Calvin’s mom by now.

Poor Calvin’s parents! Because no matter how much they’re paying her, it’s not enough. I would never babysit for him again after this.

I love the fact that he’s drawn grinning like crazy. He knows he’s in trouble, but, oh, how he doesn’t care!

I love that this comic is old enough that renting VCRs and tapes was still a thing

I cannot even imagine the trouble I’d have been in, if I had done this to a baby-sitter. CPS would have been called in the aftermath, I assure you.

Um, Calvin… You DO realize if the neighbors look outside and sees this, they’ll call the cops, right?

If she is having a hard time finding one, The Count will rent her the one The Count has down in the dungeon of Stately Count Manor gathering dust. May even be two down there. The Count will even throw in the remote connected with a long cable for… a slight additional charge.

Play it out, Calvin. The punishment must be worth it, so play it out well.
