Cathy: To look "office acceptable", a man needs a $200 suit, $60 shoes, a $30 shirt, $5 of underwear and a $10 haircut. To look "office acceptable," a woman needs a $200 suit, $80 shoes, a $90 blouse, $35 of lingerie, a $45 haircut, $5 pantyhose, $46 of makeup, a $10 manicure, $200 of jewelry, and a $30 purse containing $9 of emergency supplies to maintain her "professional look" throughout the day. Thus, on behalf of all woman, I demand a year-end refund for each of us, plus $10 per hour of all the extra shopping time required! Accountant: It all evens out with the extra aspirin men have to buy. Cathy: Medicine is a different category. Shall I begin with our therapy bills?
