Cathy: I'm deducting all my suits as a business expense. Accountant: Suits aren't deductible. You can wear them for pleasure. Cathy: To wear a suit for "pleasure", a woman has to buy a lacy camisole, dressy pumps, evening bag, chunky jewelry and coordinating pantyhose! If we're going to spend $500, it's not going to be to accessorize the suits we've worn until 9:00 every night working late at the stupid office!! Accountant: You've worn your suits until 9:00 at the office? Viola! Evening wear! Not deductible.
Okay, now that’s just mean.
