Saleswoman: Remember when you were little and your grandma took you shopping and nothing was on sale until after Christmas? Remember when you were young and innocent and your judgement hadn't been tainted by the words, "deep discounts," "warehouse clubs" and "everyday low prices"? Remember the good old days when people showed how much they cared by paying retail? Remember the giddy thrill of buying the first one you saw instead of price-checking every slimy low-ball competitor in the mall??! Cathy: They're cheaper somewher else?? Saleswoman: Remember when I used to refrain from weeping untiil the customer handed me the cash?
