Sometimes I accept things because they sound great at the time and I haven’t really thought about what else will be going on later. To make a very long story short, I’m on the board for our neighborhood, and we are split (3-2) over a very minor issue. The problem is that 2 are being pretty irrational over this and it has turned from annoying to downright uncivil and stressful. I am talking to the president this afternoon to see what we’re going to do about it. Personally, I’m ready to quit because of the things that have been said, and unfortunately the worst of the 2 is my immediate neighbor. :-( On a friendlier note, I hope you had a nice visit with your mom! :-)
