Cathy: I was young and foolish. I ate a cheeseburger. Then I said "no" to fat and ate only the bun. I said "no" to carbs and ate only the meat. I said "no" to meat and ate only the cheese. I said "no" to dairy and ate only the lettuce and tomato. I said "no" to non-organic vegetables and ate only the toasted sesame seeds. ....And then I said "no" to media-induced food hysteria! "no" to nutrition-depleting, craving-inducing extremes! I reinstated some fat...some carbs...some meat....some dairy....some veggies ...and ta da! I am old and wise. I will eat a cheeseburger! The nice thing about WW is that you can have whatever you want…you just have to keep track. Mostly I eat pretty healthy but I have a handful of slightly lower cal potato chips most days and lately we’ve been eating gelato for desert which is also lower cal.
