I heard once that you should eat a big breakfast, a light lunch and a small dinner. No one ever explained what the quantity is for big, light and small.
If the result is the same no matter what she does, then why does she think that “Lunch sets the eating mood for the whole day”? Sigh… The best guideline I’ve heard is “Eat until you are no longer hungry”. If you go by the “Eat until you are full”, that means different things to different people. And even the “no longer hungry” is partly mental (as in, I can tell myself I’m no longer hungry after I have a snack, but I can also convince myself that I should eat another cookie too).

Yup—like lightenup said, eating at lunch = eating more all day. Why make things more complicated than that? Oy.
Also, I’ve been meaning to share here a fitting quote I found online a while back:
“Behind every great man is a woman rolling her eyes.”
— Jim Carrey
