Cathy: How could I let Charlene disappear from my life? I haven't e-mailed, haven't texted, haven't Facebooked, haven't tweeted, haven't blogged, haven't skyped! Mom: I haven't written a letter to Hannah in ages! I ignore my beloved friends the old-fashioned way.
Today is the second day of Rosh Hashanah … and my 73rd birthday. It’s a double reason to celebrate.
I have now out-lived my mama and am not sure how – between illness, adverse reactions to rescue inhaler and another med and “death” of nebulizer, I’ve looked death in the face more times than I want to remember!
Thanks for helping me celebrate two new beginnings – 5782 and 73! :-)
