Never mind the casket, who dressed him?

Uncle Cal used to tease Gavin unmercifully. It’s just Gavin’s way of getting the last laugh on him. Drop the casket on him and shovel the dirt in anyway — the worms won’t care.

    A tisket, a tasket,

    A cheap wood casket

I put my uncle in the coffin

And the bottom fell out of it

They require a concrete coffin liner here to protect the bodies from the embalming fluid in the soil. It wasn’t a complete waste of a pair of pants and shoes.

My Dad was at a funeral back in the 60’s where this actually happened. The manufacturer was building the coffins “on the cheap.” To make matters worse, the padding was wadded up newspaper – which all fell out along with the deceased.

Nothing in law that says your cast needs to be $10k or more. And in most cases you can be buried any where as long as you (the dead) don’t affect clean ground water. I hope I have a pine box or just put in the ground. However, my wife is saying no matter what I want I will be cremated.

Then Cal should’ve made it himself before he croaked.
