That is not what quiet quitting is. Unless the one quitting was hire to perform a different act and management is just expecting them to do trapeze job without compensation.
The guy in blue is NOT quiet quitting. It is an expected part of the job to catch the other person. It is only quiet quitting if he wasn’t scheduled for that performance and is not being paid for it.
“Quiet quitting” was invented by bosses to invent a negative-sounding term for “only doing what the job requires”. So if this person was “quiet quitting” they’d catch their partner here, unless falling is part of the act.
Oh, no! I hope Bleeb doesn’t end up injured like what happened on the battlefield a few weeks ago. Oh, and I hope the trapeze guy doesn’t get hurt either.

You’d better stay up on that swing, because when I get hold of you, you’ll be noisy quitting…if you survive….

Does it really count as quiet quitting if you “announce” it?

Welp… there goes your ride!
But, according to Road Runner and Coyote physics, the coyote hangs in thin air and doesn’t actually fall until he looks down.
Soooooo, don’t look down.

Quiet quitting – for people without the guts to stand up for their beliefs
