Cattle eat grass that has had cattle all over it. The soccer field sounds safer!

She’ll be headed over to the rose garden for a light brunch.

Yup, Phoebe has the right idea. Grazing is every equines favorite pass time. My horse can think of nothing more important. You wouldn’t want all sorts of feet trampling your salad bowl either. There is no telling where they have been or what they have stepped in.

Besides, who needs adult entertainment?

It’s even worse than human feet – there’s that infernal mowing machine that shreds off the nice tender tips twice a week, and makes it all smell faintly like transmission fluid and gasoline…

You either graze a field, or you mow it. Not both.

Beautiful work, Dana (as usual). Marigold’s expression and typography in panel 3 are perfect. Marigold’s attitude couldn’t be clearer.Marigold’s “blehh” expression in panel 4 is more subtle but is again a perfect fit.

Ok, I love the tongue sticking out, so cute. I think her “unicorn” things that she has to do is gazing into a pool of still water. Phoebe may be riding the bus home.

Cartoons are for everyone!The Fairy Oddparents is hard to appreciate in a single (or even a few) episode(s). All of the hidden adult jokes and momentum takes a while to filter in. The show did take a terrible turn though when a new character was introduced into a prominent role, and a Live Action movie was made.

Even so, it is one of my favourites. Just like this comic, Kids with a magical _____ . is a great opportunity for storytelling.
