I can’t believe I lamented the fact that Basset was/is no longer involved in this strip, it’s tenfold better now. Art, writing, coherence. How often do comics get better with age. Doonesbury? Zits? Speed Bump?

There may be no such thing as Tatulli’s Pizza, but wouldn’t it be great if there were a comics-themed deli with menu items based on all the great characters: the Lio Limburger Sandwich, the Alice Applesauce Appetizer, Adam’s Apple Pie, etc.
