Jason: You're wearing a costume all week because of the "Harry Potter" movie?! Eileen, you are such a loser! Can't you see how foolish you look?! Hey, everyone, check out Eileen! She's all dressed up like Harry Potter! Voice: Wow, she's pulling a Jason. Eileen: Ok, now I feel like a loser. Jason: No, no! I'm dressing up for "Lord of the Rings"!

See, the fail there is at the time, HP was less nerdy than LotR. Though EJ as Hermine would have been better recieved at my school, there are still kids at my daughter’s school who wear striped scarves in their “favorite house” colors.

I am surprised that Jason even notices Eileen, much less than she’s in costume.

It is her first book meant to be for adults. It is not a children’s story.

The last 3 books of HP wasn’t really for children either. Older, teenager children maybe. But not children. I have JK’s new book on my shelf, can’t wait to get to it. If you want to read from a really good author, read anything from Terry Pratchett.

Rowling intended for the series to grow up with the people reading it. If, say, a person started at 8-10 years old, they would be 18-20 by the time the series ended.

Nice try, Jason.

Poor Jason. But The Lord of the Rings is so much cooler. Eileen should have dressed as an elf or something, not Harry Potter

I’ll pick Harry Potter over Lord of the Rings any day
