This must be a US reference.

It’s a twist on the chorus “Oppa is Gangnam Style. Gangnam Style” from the English version of the song “Gangnam Style” by South Korean singer PSY. Oppa is a nickname.

for the love of christ, stop playing that song…even naval academy midshipmen are doing it. the sad thing is most people don’t even know that translation. this song and call me maybe are the most played songs of the summer.

Let’s get back to painting. That I understood.

I thought “Oppa” was a Greek cheer. Either that or Ms. Winfrey.
