Okay, maybe this sounds stupid but I had wondered, now its clear, Pandolph is redoing this strip – that is cool, the first series was great, looking forward to seeing how this one goes.
There is a Bark Eater Inn located near Lake Placid – from the website this tidbit of information: “Bark Eater” is an English translation of the Mohican word “Adirondack,” a term the Mohawk once used for Algonquian-speaking tribes who were said to eat the inside of the bark of the white pine when food was scarce. Who knew… well, I didn’t.

As I remember it, Banks flew her in from NYC with views of the Hudson River, etc as they went north.. Strange, this be.
