there is legalized money laundering and illegal money laundering. one is where you move the money around, spread it out, shelter it, etc…so, the taxman can’t touch it. other one gets you in jail if caught for a very long time.

A favorite hobo trick is to jam a wad of paper and foil into the coin-return slot of a vending machine or pay-phone (if any still exist). After a few days, the hobo comes back, removes the logjam, and collects accumulated change.
