If she wanted any creatures other than birds, she needs a fountain with a lower level basin. My backyard waterfall has 3 levels as well as brass cranes that are piped. I LOVE watching the birds there. Only other critters in my garden are the cute little geckos, because I have a small lot with a wall.

Bunnies, maybe. I’ve had thenm in my yard without the ugly fountain. But deer? Not likely.

My dad has a Christmas tree for the birds and animals just outside his back door. Decorated with edibles, with cracked corn underneath. The deer come right up to it, along with the squirrels, rabbits and plenty of birds. Food is hard to come by in the blizzard. Merry Christmas, everybody!
