And she’s doing a stellar job of it, too.

“Practice makes perfect.” –Though I don’t know many people who practice for parties: I guess Mona just is not used to being pleasantly sociable….

But we did see it, Fake Smokey. Hawaii, remember? Mona was confident and sexy with a tan, remember? Character development was deemed too complex for a comic strip, remember? Showed that Jen probably ran out of ideas for the comic strip character Smokey to the point where he could be omitted without a drop in the overall quality of the strip, making your choice of a screename as well as your reason for existing pointless, remember?

Hawaii was different. She was wearing Donna’s clothes. http://www.clv-comic.com/view.php?pic=2158

Point still stands, Fake Smokey. Without comic strip character Smokey around and with some effort, Mona can be hot. But then Mona wouldn’t be the Cathy of the 21st century and C’est la Vie would look like it’s nearing the end of its run, which was probably the reason for the shoddy ending of that arc that basically said, “SCREW CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, I HAVE THE STATUS QUO!”

Your silly suggestion means I wouldn’t be the Hobbes of the 21st century. Screw that!
