She is playing him for a MAJOR sucker that he’s not!
The Old Wolf about 12 years ago
Bedad… I thought her douchebaggery was limited to how she treats her employees… but cheating the customers? This lady is headed for Jail instead of Japan this time.
stanr888 about 12 years ago
Goodbye, evil Effiel (or however her name is spelled). She’s about to get her just rewards.
barbarasbrute about 12 years ago
She just hasn’t bothered to update the computers to reflect the advertised specials yet.

We’re all eager to see Evil Ann get her come uppance.TJ never really cheated anyone; he was just good at up-selling.
BreeTheFirst about 12 years ago
But you see, the cookie’s free.Woah that rhymed!
SF1972 about 12 years ago
Hmmm…maybe this is where Tiff comes in and saves Ox. A perfect opportunity to humanize her for a rare moment.
Sisyphos about 12 years ago
Annie Awful is now beginning to look dumb as well as malign. She forgets so easily. Oxford does not. Her rip-off may be the final act in her story.
drewpamon about 12 years ago
TJ is more chaotic neutral than evil. Where as Ann is more lawful evil.
Angelalex242 about 12 years ago
Personally. I like TJ. Any real Sales Team (Hi, car sales, phone sales, etc) would snap him up in a heartbeat. He’d have to be more careful in the tightly regulated mortgate sales, insurance sales, securities sales industries, but he’d kick butt there too.
The Old Wolf about 12 years ago
Well, I think by now it’s pretty safe to assume you’re not a TJ fan. Which is cool, because I’ve always felt kind of greasy around him as well. TJ’s basically your average street hustler; I’d expect to see him spend his life working boiler-room scams selling bogus oil units or gold coin swindles to unsuspecting senior citizens. That said, somewhere in there he has a heart and a conscience of sorts; he seems willing to use his skills to go to bat for his friends. Eiffel, on the other hand, strikes me as rotten to the very core. Heartless, soulless, totally self-centered and egomaniacal, she’ll lie, steal, deceive, betray, and go back on her solemnest promise if it means “winning.” She seems so familiar to me, because I’ve worked for someone just like her – and it was expensive, and it was painful. This is the kind of person who will move heaven and earth to destroy you if you don’t lick their shoes. Just my two penn’orth.
sleeepy2 about 12 years ago
So now she’s just a flat out thief?
Tackerdog about 12 years ago
Maybe she will get shot in a holdup??
Ottodesu about 12 years ago
It’s always good to see Ann.Not to be with her, mind you, just seeing her.
Ottodesu about 12 years ago
BTW, how much would a cookie cost? Is she trying to boost the price to “include” a “free” biscuit for the normal RRP?
Doctor11 about 12 years ago
TJ is actually a decent guy while Ann Eiffel IS evil and needs to be dealt with; if you don’t believe me, go back and read the bookstore arch involving Luann’s friend Bernice and see what happen there.
Dconskjk about 12 years ago
And Ann, once again, you don’t pick the right battles
LadyChel about 12 years ago
And giving him a “free” cookie, she’s trying to knock him off the diet wagon! A real witch, trying to fatten him up so he orders more and more, hehe.
cabalonrye about 12 years ago
That has always baffled me. Why aren’t you putting the full price, taxes included, on the price tag in the US? At the end that’s what the customer has to pay. Is there a law forbidding it?
Simon_Jester about 12 years ago
She better hope TJ isn’t watching this. He still owes her for welching on her promise to promote him.
Hetalia.Italy about 12 years ago
wow… just…
dramac333 about 12 years ago
He’s not as think as you dumb he is!
sjsczurek about 12 years ago
And she calls him “hon.” Totally discourteous, and totally unprofessional.
bgby4884 about 12 years ago
Ox says he’s on a diet so she offers him a cookie. And they say men don’t listen!
Dr Sheriff MB esq PhD DML about 12 years ago
….who cares…??? She’s lookin’ mighty “perky”….thas all I’m sayin…..
imbaldeagle about 12 years ago
I’d take a closer look at that horse. I don’t see it breathing. Better quit beating it until the vet gives his opinion.
imbaldeagle about 12 years ago
Looks like Greg Evans is doing another makeover – like he did with Brad when he got serious about firefighting and Toni. So Ox will gradually become fit and develop a six-pack? Wow!
yangeldf about 12 years ago
ok, there’s upselling, then there is ripping off your customers, which I believe is legitimately a crime.

Dream on Donny … and to re-use a recent campaign line: the rooster’s crow makes the sun rise.
ACTIVIST1234 about 12 years ago
Levi, sorry your coffee was bitter this morning. Or your milk had turned on you. But let’s remember Back to the Beach Day to celebrate the new school year— AE got kudos from her bosses, increased sales, Ox returned as a customer, AND revenge on TJ.
All from stealing TJ’s idea and work!

BBB, here I come!
angusdad about 12 years ago
Doesn’t she realize from before that Ox is not stupid?
Guilty Bystander about 12 years ago
Like Maxine Waters or Dianne Feinstein?
uncledad_99 about 12 years ago
He used my idea of Ox showing up with his lawyer uncle and rich dad?
wynot about 12 years ago
You have read the bookstore story 3 or 4 times—-Could you please give me the beginning date? I’d like to reread it but don’t have time for the backward surfing. Pretty please?
coolwaterman about 12 years ago
Oh oh… she just got caught doing an over charging / tax skimming / pocket lining scheme.
Is this the end for our beloved evil black goddess?
wynot about 12 years ago
Thankee for the tip!
MDeB about 12 years ago
Ox doesn’t.He just smacks his fist into his palm!
Elmer Gantry Fudd about 12 years ago
Of course TJ is supposed to be “good” and Ann is supposed to be evil. This is Evans’ one-dimensional world, after all. The fact that their behavior doesn’t quite match their assigned roles in the strip is due to Evans (crappy) writing ability.

All these comments for what???

Don’t flatter yourself.

Hey, the internet kept my grandma out of the Bingo Hall.
LadyChel about 12 years ago
You are funny!! I can’t tell if you actually believe everything you’re saying or if you just like to debate and type. A Lot. Since everyone seems to be “in love” with TJ, and you’re the lone person who thinks he’s Toad Juice, isn’t that telling you something? 100 vs. 1, hm…In comparing Eiffel and TJ, it’s not that we love TJ, he’s just the lesser of two evils. And everything Eiffel does borders on illegal. I think we all want TJ to win, give it to Eiffel HARD!Still, though I, and most people here, see things differently, you definitely make this comment board interesting!!
Chocoloop about 12 years ago
Okay, this looks like a story line I will be ready to end say..tomorrow?
LadyChel about 12 years ago
Nah, more like Leviticus wants TJ to get it. Not that TJ’s always been the sweetest BFF, but I don’t think he deserves THAT. :P
38lowell about 12 years ago
So, he’s on a diet and she gives him a free cookie?
David Huie Green LoveJoyAndPeace about 12 years ago
“Your referral to Ann as “Evil” is hilarious when you consider TJ works there.”-But TJ isn’t evil despite the possible presence of a bit of moral flexibility.
Faith :) almost 9 years ago
Ann is so dumb. Why would she cheat someone like Ox? Ox is their best customer who can give them a big percent of money based on the food he eats… why would you rip off this person and lose the best customer? This makes no sense.
