I spent my holiday’s with my grandparents in Illinois as a kid. My grandma would distract me while grandpa would switch the clocks forward an hour. We would watch the news at 10, and then watch the ball drop in NYC say Happy New Year and go to bed at 11. I was none the wiser til years later when grandma admitted it to me.
