Around here the Dairy Queen is the most crowded in the middle of winter. Ice cream is definitely good year round. That said, I don’t think I’d be waiting for it outside.
when I am cold if I eat something cold it triggers my body to start warming up, not sure how or why this works but I call it make myself even more cold so my internal furnace fires up.

Yes. Here the Dairy Queen is open all year. Not that they sell much ice cream when it’s 40 below, but they do.
