Yes zoning out while driving is dangerous. Put on some tunes! They say singing along to music whilae driving keeps you alert.

i like listening to classical music. it keeps me calm enough that i don’t honk angrily at people who don’t drive well. and THAT keeps me from becoming one of those who don’t drive well.

I agree with yyyguy - Flight of the Valkyries can get you out of a traffic jam in less time than Claire De Lune, though.

Be aware of the down side. He has a life, and it is not what you are dreaming.

I’d say the “Dreamer” is about to get her first ‘rude’ awakening!

I’ve driven in Montreal, you just can’t day dream there, the fear factor is to great.

She’ll get ticket when she makes her first ‘right on red’ which is against the law only in Montreal.

If she doesn’t speak French she’s in trouble. They take a dim view of people who don’t speak French. And she’s in for a tremendous disappointment. I wish she hadn’t pursued this.

Why did Lynn Johnston change the strip? I liked it better when Connie swore at the other driver. It was much funnier.

I like this strip much better than the original. Connie not swearing is a more mature woman, nicer. .

I’m enjoying watching Ms. Johnson re-inventing her strip. I am one of those that did not get into the strip when it was young. I started getting into it after Michael was married and Liz was a teacher. But it is fun to go and look back at the strip the way it was. Thanks for the link.

I don’t personally like either one of the strips, but the “salt on his moustache” is a gross thing to be dwelling on, and shows the shallowness of what she is looking for.

Oh sure the same as anywhere. Even we “polite” Canucks grow horns while behind the wheel. I try to be calm. My husband on the other hand…..
