Okay, so why didn’t Lynn keep the storyline the way it was? See, she’s having way to much fun “recreating” her strip! Its turning out to be a different strip
Take that you syndicate who have dropped our Lynn!
I’m glad Lynn is changing things off; like most of us, she probably doesn’t like being routine. Even if I’m asked to do a piece just like another I had done, I always make some changes.
Now I’m really confused. It would appear this is a wrong address and if Connie tries to speak to this woman, she may have trouble because she doesn’t speak French. So she may assume (make an a-s-s out of u and me) that Phil is shacking up with her when all the time it’s a wrong address!
I loved that story somebody short. I always find that sort of story fascinating.
wouldn’t it be cool to be able to delete a remark in real life?
to get another chance, to ‘take it back’?
for that matter wouldn’t it be cool to start all over again at age 21 , knowing what you know now….
one of my favorite books is “Replay” by Ken Grimwood
about just this concept
In French, one says “Allo?” when answereing the phone.
In person, one says “Bonjour”.
You are right about Hello in English and Bonjour in French but where did that word “Allo” come from? That is new to me. :-/
Supposedly if this strip in real life, I am sure their loves will be hurt so much! Ouch!
I love the way Connie’s facial expression shows obviously. LOLs!
I have a similar story to somebodyshort’s: A local woman, A., (I live in a small town) had a friend tell her about a man she thought A. should meet, a friend of mine named Charles, but she only knew that his last name starts with E. A. thought Charles lived in town, but he actually lives in a nearby town. She looked up the phone number for a Charles E. in town and called another friend of mine, Charlie, who has a different last name that also starts with E. Charles and Charlie know each other. A. and Charlie chatted, realized mistake, but decided they should meet. And now they are married. Serendipity defined.

Hold on everyone….we don’t even know who it is yet.

Doesn’t matter. What matters is how Connie reacts. If she flees now, she’ll never know who it is and that’ll be the end of Phil. But this is gooood…

Connie should have respected her place as the other woman.

ah, @pearlandpeach, that explains why I can’t find your remark.
kittylover2 almost 15 years ago
Elly told her 271 not 114 - your not even close Connie. Transposing a number is one thing but a complete change is another.

Well, this woman is way cuter than Connie, anyways.

Don’t be silly. She’s from Montreal; she speaks French and English! I have a feeling they will have no problem communicating.

Thanks for that link and backstory How the duck. I didn’t know Connie was from Montreal.

I want to see Connie freak out, beat her up, and then realize she’s at the wrong address.
