I went to Cheesequake Stat Park, near the GS Parkway. The coords are near the parking lot. A geocache is nearby, if it wasn’t vaporized by accident.http://coord.info/GC3VVQQ

You guys are pikers. I know that my house (in CT) is roughly 42 degrees N, and 075deg W. One degree of latitude is 60 miles; so I said, Hey! That’s NJ!.You and your fancy Internet and GPS….—former Navy QM
steverinoCT about 12 years ago
…heh. So much for my showing off: 072deg W is where I’m at..And at this latitude, one degree of longitude is roughly 35 miles.
AlanM about 12 years ago
Not a degree per mile.It’s a minute a mile.360 * 60 = 21600 which is 13% short of the 24,900 mile circumference of the Earth.
