Oh this should be interesting! Wonder how long he’ll last?
My hubby loves to work with tools so once in a while he’ll do a ‘handy’ job for someone and of course I get to go with him. It’s utter hell! I’m not ‘handy’ and he’s not patient. His career is Social Worker and things have been hectic lately so we haven’t been able to ‘go out and get the job done together’ lately. AHHHH, life’s been good!

Especially if she knows you think of her as the old lady. As for Adam he has to decide if his male ego can handle taking orders from his wife. If not he’d better forget the whole thing.

My lady of 12 years and I have man names for each other that we joke with and laugh about. Babe, honey, darling, ole lady, ole man, #$**@!, etc. You might not know what they mean to a particular couple.
Oh yeah, the strip! Working together as a couple that is in a relationship and being able to take criticism is very difficult.

as the manager and not the owner of the bookstore does laura have the capacity to hire adam with them being a couple. there can be many difficult feelings with other employees i know in some businesses there are laws about nepotisim

My wife and I worked together every day we were married until we retired. I remember the beginning being tough, but once we figured out our roles it was great. I got to spend every day with my best friend.

Different strokes for different folks. My wife and I were office mates before we married and we continue to work as a team. Of course, we don’t have a management-underling relationship to complicate things.
